RP does not believe the First Amendment applies to states, and that they should be able to discriminate based on sexual preference, gender, race or religion if the local populace agrees. (Link)

RP claims he would not let his religious beliefs influence his public policy. But he has twice introduced “The Sanctity of Life Act” which federalizes abortion as murder and says, “life begins at conception” which is clearly based on his evangelical christian ideology. (Link)
RP claims to be a libertarian but imposing his religious ideals upon everyone at the federal level is the antithesis of respect for individual rights. Even his own bible doesn’t define life as beginning at conception.
RP rejects the theory of evolution as being valid. It’s bad enough any educated person would reject the overwhelming evidence, but he is a medical doctor! (Link)

RP Opposes the Civil Rights Act
Ron Paul wants to reintroduce Letters of Marque.
Introduced the The We the People Act. Most recently in 2009 as H.R. 539, and back in 2004 as H.R. 3893. This basically stops the Federal government protecting the rights of minorities (i.e. Homosexuals) if a state decides to discriminate against them. Ron Paul knows full well that Conservative states would use this to shit all over homosexuals.
RP wants to do away with government funding of science research.
RP wants to end birthright citizenship.
RP wants deny federal funding to any organisation “which presents male or female homosexuality as an acceptable alternative life style or which suggest that it can be an acceptable life style”
Before you claim “He just doesn’t think the Federal government should fund it!”. He specifically singles out the “homosexual” lifestyle. He doesn’t reference any others. It also reveals he thinks homosexuality is a “lifestyle choice”.
RP wants to put America back onto the Gold Standard.
He was the sole vote against divesting US federal government investments in corporations doing business with the genocidal government of the Sudan.
RP believes that “the Left” is waging a war on religion and Christmas
RP believes that the Panama Canal should be the property of the United States
RP believes in “New World Order” Conspiracy Theories.
RP believes that the U.N International Baccalaureate program is some sort of secret indoctrination program.
RP wants to pull out of NATO.
RP introduced a bill to stop the Federal government removing tax exempt status from schools that segregate.
RP believes that the Bible dictates Monetary Policy
